2nd time at NDP parade. Very excited to get a chance to attend NE show this year with the school. As it was only their 2nd rehearsal, I guess they’re still not quite confident. Many hiccups here and there.
Thought it was a happy event, the fall of one of the Red Lions was pretty upsetting. They performed stunningly and everyone was screaming and cheering during their stunts in the air. When the first lion landed, he lost his balance. And the second, he fell and couldn’t get up. Everyone at the green sector was shocked and speechless. The show had to go on, but many of our mind were focused on the fallen Lion. It was scary to see such thing happen on such a happy occassion. The medics ran quickly towards the Lion after few minutes, unaware of the accident. The whole group stood there for almost 10mins, not sure what to do. Some were trying to get more help and some tried to help the fallen Lion. Those minutes were frightening, especially to the children sitting infront of the accident. The Lion seems to be in very bad state. All prayed tat he’ll be well.
