After less than 4 hours of sleep in the car at Sentosa, we headed down to Vivocity for the first nuffnang community event – screening of Rush Hour 3. Since we were already around the vacinity, we’re the first few to arrive at GV Vivo. Later brenn came along with his sister.

At the end of the show, i asked myself… so was the event a successful one? I think not. In the little booklet, Ming mentioned that he hope this event provides a valuable platform on which we can make new friends and forged new bonds within the nuffnang community. But instead of doing that, everyone was either talking to people whom they already know or stands alone at a corner with the movie partner waiting for time to pass to enter the cinema.

According to the Itinerary, Ming was supposed to give a speech before the movie, I was waiting for it with my camera in my hand, but the show started, without any speech. And the only thing we got to see was the new logo and screenshots of what Nuffnang 2.0 will look like… but what’s in it for us bloggers, well, guess we’ve got to wait till the launch in October to find out.

Some photos taken at the event…

Check out the queue for the tickets!

That’s why it pays to be early… see no queue!
The new logo…

The snacks provided kindly by nuffnang…

The round balls looked interesting… but later discovered that it was supposed to be donuts.
But with the sugar melted/ dissolved.

The non-nuffnangers were given this label…

So here… he with the food…

I was trying to read this url… but bf beats me to it…

On iMac, the new logo…

On iMac, the new platform… launching in Oct 2007

There were couple of shots which I wanted to blogged about, but later decided not to, cause it might start a blog war with the girl involved. Nope, its not xx. It someone else. Ya, xx was there too, with her bf, not much to comment, as she’s still short and the heals didn’t quite make her seem taller. Without the photos, I think its safer to talk about the girl whom I felt was L.A.M.E. As I’ve blogged before, some people simply post photos on their blogs and they get thousands of clicks in a day… ya, she’s one of those people… she has got a long list of tickets in her hand and she got a crowd of her own. The entire time waiting outside for the cinema to open, they were taking photos non-stop! And all the act pretty or act cute faces… for every shots! Guess that’s normal for them. They not only disturb the other people around them with flashes, they talked loudly too! Even in the cinema! Being the last few to enter, they had to announced to the entire room that they are trying to sort out their seats. Is she one of those celebrity blogger? Nope, cos she doesn’t blog! She post photos on her blog! I saw xx entering the cinema too, she didn’t create a big scene like what this girl did. She sat quietly with her bf somewhere in the center of the cinema and watch the long long advertisements like the rest. So why must this non-celebrity blogger disturb the peace of the cinema?Ok, I think I should stop. I’m not being mean alright. I’m just trying to share my views. Ok… nuff said. Lastly, must thank nuffnang for the movie. It was great fun watching with fellow bloggers. My favorite part of the movie, was the credits. Cos I just find Chris super irritating and Jacky as usual, trying to impress his fans with all the dangerous moves.
