I’d imagine a life more simple, streamlined and less biased towards a certain crunchy Apple product.

Wah! I want this one leh!! It’ll look very nice in my living room where all my family members can use! Especially Ah MA (aka my grandmother!) She don’t know how to use the mouse also cannot aim one leh! But now she can touch the screen to select and click and navigate!

I think it’ll be easier for me to teach her how to use the HP since she just need to know how to turn on and where to touch. With the HP interface, she will be able to watch the videos we took and view the many many photos of our family. We will also be able to leave voice messages for her to click and listen to. This we can help remind her what to do and even leave instructions for her on how to use this computer!

Besides my Ah Ma, my whole family will be able to spend lots of time playing games together. Since now there’s no need to use the small mouse to click, we can all sit around the screen and start touching the screen to play the games!

The more I write this, the more I want to own this computer leh! Pick me pick me!

My daughter 6 years old just cannot let this go. She is playing her carebear games and Dora using touch ! My 70 years old father in law was impressed that this look like a TV but is a PC and it can play his favourite DVD!Now he can learn how to use the remote control that comes with it as well as learn to type emails and get in touch with his sister in France.

I’ve always wanted a touch screen PC as i’ve observed that the mouse is just not very intuitive for both my kids (4 & 6) who are starting to use the PC. Both keep touching the screen and pointing at the things on the screen.

Now with the HP TouchSmart PC i can imagine them drawing, learning how to write, its almost like an interactive whiteboard that we can use at home for that dreaded weekly spelling & “ting xie” (Mandarin spelling).

I think this is the start of a whole new generation of applications as there will be so much more touch screen software out there. All thanks to HP TouchSmart PC. ;)

WOW! Let the fingers do the touching – how loving & sexy!
Being a middle-aged woman, I’d always been playing catch-up with technology! I got excited when I learnt about HP Touchsmart PC…it’s definitely the PC on my wishlist!
I can imagine the family gathering round the PC to share the joy of viewing family albums at ‘lightning speed’, and children playing games with their grandparents without the joystick.
Accessories like the mouse, webcam and microphone will eventually become obsolete as all these will be incorporated into the system. Hmm…there sure is a lot savings in term of space & money.
For the elderly who are prone to arthritis, stop worrying and allow your fingers the maximum workout on the touchscreen!

I had my first Pentium I desktop at the age of 15. It lasted until i got into JC in yr 2003 (i think) ..My friends were already using Pentium 3 lei OMG!
