Well done Claudia! Wonderful LIVE blog – Wouldn’t know that this was your first time. :)

Regarding web applications which hang may drive users away… That’s absolutely true. However, that is not something unique for Rich Internet Applications (RIA). Even a normal website may hang as well.

I think RIA technology (regardless whether it’s Silverlight, Flash, or AJAX) generally is stable enough that it won’t just hang… unless the programmer did a bad job of course. :)
