Are you ready to Explore Singapore?
November 19, 2008  |  Happenings, Rediscover Singapore  |  ACM, Events, Explore Singapore, Featured, festival, Highlights, NHB, singapore

School holiday is here! And I know parents are all cracking their heads thinking what to do, where to go and how to keep their kids busy and entertained. With the bad economy and lesser bonuses coming. Traveling is not quite within the budget isn’t it? Well, I’ve a suggestion… why not bring them to Explore Singapore!

From 20 Nov to 7 Dec, there are a whole line-up of interesting activities for everyone! And you also get to meet up-close with Dim Sum Dollies, Mark Lee, Vincent Ng and many more!

This morning, at a media preview for the upcoming activities for Explore Singapore, Jack and Rai kicked start the morning with 2 lovely tunes. Can’t remember where I heard about them before, but they’re pretty good.

Dim Sum Dollies were there too! And wow!! Why haven’t I been to any of their shows?? They’re sooo adorable!! Love their crazy, naughty and sooo Singaporean style lah!

There was also a short demonstration by Chef Khaled who’ll be doing a demonstration on how to cook and prepare Malay heritage dishes and desserts on 6 Dec at Malay Heritage Centre!

With more than 70 activities to choose from, no one is going to be left out from Exploring Singapore lah! Will you be going to any of them too? Find out more at Explore Singapore website now!

For me, I will may be attending the following events and activities at Explore Singapore! Wanna join me? It’ll be fun!!

Dim Sum Dollies Day Out! on 29 Nov, Sat at 1pm or 3pm at National Museum of Singapore.

They’ll be singing and dancing while introducing Singapore’s history in whimsical fashion! When will you ever get to catch these lovable ladies for free* up close and personal?? *Free with museum admission

Japan Media Arts Festival in Singapore 2008: Growing Together at Singapore Art Museum from 21 Nov to 14 Dec.
I can’t wait to immerse myself into Japanese pop culture with award-winning new media art, animation, manga and entertainment!

A Bearie Bear Workshop on 26 Nov, Wed at 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Mint Museum of Toys.

Fun with Stamps on 28 Nov, Fri at 10am to 12pm at Singapore Philatelic Museum.

WRAP! FESTIVAL on 7 Dec, Sun at 1pm to 6pm at Asian Civilisations Museum.

The Asian version of STOMP! World-famous Nanta combines traditional Korean drumming with comic and drama! Their photo above already makes me excited! Playing with food! It’ll be soo exciting!

Gosh! Looks like I’ll be very busy the next few weeks! Oh! And you know what? If you’re member of Yebber.com, you’ll also get bonus Y$ for posting reviews of Explore Singapore! and the 8 NHB Museums during this special period! AND! AND! AND!! There’s also a Subaru Forrester up for grab with every $5 spent at Explore Singapore! Wah!!! What are you waiting for? Quick register yourself, your family and friends for the exciting line-ups now!!

don't post comment to ask why. I blame it on the stupid sync on iPhoto!
