Perhaps I’m one of the last few person who actually went to watch Departures. I’d wanted to watch it when I first saw the trailer, but haven’t had time to go catch it. And I’m glad I finally did.

Its one of those film that I will watch over and over again and will still cry over and over again no matter how many times I’d watched it. The actor, Masahiro Motoki, is very good! His profound acting and his gentle and peaceful expression in the entire movie makes me, the audience, feel his deep emotions.

A very moving show that brings out a lot of internal thoughts and reflections for myself.

This I want the DVD! So that I can watch it when I feel emo, to help bring our more tears from within.

I’m giving this a 4.5 out of 5 popcorns nachos with cheese!
