Ever since I had Yuniko, my eyes and senses seem to be more sensitive to all cats around me. And when I saw these three cats at Ang Mo Kio the other day, I just can’t stop thinking about them!

First there was this cat wearing a t-shirt and it fits his character so well! He’s the King, so don’t even think of trying to get his attention. He simply /ignore everyone around him. He’s got character alright!

Then there’s this smallest one among the three. He’s super manja and friendly. He’ll come to you when you call for him.

Being the eldest in the family, I grew up being told that I’ve to set good example to my brother and cousins. We live and grew up together, and I’m the leader of the lot. Being “trained” as a big sister for the 5 young ones, I shoulder quite a lot of pressure (or so I thought). Since I’m the eldest, I think I get less stress as there is no one before me for my family to compare or benchmark me with. Unlike the younger ones, they are often being compared – be it their studies, height or even achievements. Which to me, looking back now, is so unnecessary. Why compare? Everyone is unique and everyone should have their own rights and we should be in control of our own life! Why bother if we’re better or not. Among the girls in my family, I am the one with the lowest education qualifications. But so? I live my life to the fullest you know? :P

Having live through almost 3 decades of my life (yes I am coming to that big 3 soon! arghhhh!), I have learned to take care of myself and take responsibility of all my actions. And one thing that I will be responsible for is to protect myself from HIV/AIDS. Being faithful with Only ONE.

This year, the theme for World AIDS Day is “Your life, your canvas”, inspired by the notion that we are all responsible for painting the canvas of our own lives. What we choose to put on that canvas is entirely up to us, and the choices we make all contribute to a constantly evolving picture.

I’ve heard about it since they started but I’ve never got chance to make it for any of the dinner sessions organised by Nadia. And hell now I know what I’ve been missing!

Thanks to the partnership 24seven is having with Standard Chartered Bank, finally I get to pull myself there with my blogger friends and foodies. With great company, great food and the great promotion Standard Chartered is having, the night was great fun!

As we all didn’t know what to order, we left it for the boss, Howard to decide for us. So we all had what we call “Howard’s Special”!

On Saturday, we went for Snap Snap November (held in conjunction with SG Tidbits 365) and Abang tagged along! Very happy that he came cause I know he’ll make me laugh when I look through my shots. My Abang is one big kid whom I simply adore!

This was from two months back, but decide to post it up still so that I can remind myself about this in years to come. This blog has become part of my memory repository too, in case one day, I forget who I am or needs help in recalling portion of my life when I’m old. And my children and grandchildren can read about me too through this blog. Ha! Ok, back to the article on BT.

Nothing to comment on this right now since it was from two months ago. Progression and growth digitally is too fast too furious. Something two months ago may not be news anymore. Just want to post it up as a record for my own reference. And if you’d missed this, for your reading too.

I may have missed the chance to meet Tord Boontje, the designer of this amazingly beautiful HP Mini, but I sure am not missing out on the usability and portability of this HP designer netbook.

Can you believe it? We’re together for 6 years already! Can’t wait to see what our future will bring for us!
