I laughed when I was told about this opportunity. Me? In SHAPE magazine? My perception of the magazine is where the slim, healthy and sunshine-type of women are featured. The monthly cover with perfect body female in bikini makes the pear-shaped body me feels motivated to want to slim off and be like the cover girl. After multiple attempts, many of us gave up. Some things are better left the way it is. Staying healthy is more important than having a to-die-for-figure. (Self-reassurance speaking)

The 3-page story, written by Esther, shares the story behind seven women whom SHAPE admires. I was labelled as the Entrepreneur, a young boss and one who embraces work-live balance. Well, all three relatively true in some ways. But I’ve to admit, it’s not 100% all the time, especially the work-life balance portion. In such hectic and fast paced reality, and still much in the infancy stage of the business, my team and I take every project we have very seriously and put in all we can to ensure it’s success. We are more than grateful if we can have a peaceful weekend to rest!
So, if you have not read the article about these seven women, go get yourself a copy. Might post up snapshot of my portion later in August.
Aside: @nadnut spotted me and tweeted my pic. And @jerricklim and @nanyate tweeted that I’m hot! I blushed. But personally, I prefer the camwhored photos with my 7D that day.
Saw this on my facebook wall and I just have to share it here. It was a painful 7mins when I watched the video. And having witnessed couple of almost drastic accident on the road recently, we should wake the reckless drivers up and this video is a good one. Do share this video with people around you. Especially those who drives and spend most time on the road.
Please drive carefully. The road doesn’t belong to you alone. Treasure your love ones and your own life. Drive with care please!
I’m guilty for allowing myself to be consumed by my career. Guilty for allowing myself to think of nothing else but pitch, follow-up, tasklists, milestones, emails to reply and the list goes on… but nothing in there belongs to my love ones nor myself. (Except for the iPad, which then again, am buying because I need it to help improve my flow of work.)
I’m guilty for allowing myself to impart such workaholic mindset into my dedicated and committed team leaders Diana and Kris. Everyone one of us deserve a quality break after this crazy period. Promise! At least one week leave for each of us come September ok? Take turn of course!
I’m guilty for not spending enough time with Abang, who is going through pretty tough time now due to work and other commitments. But he has always been understanding, supportive and concern. Every man has his limit. Promise to spend more time with you to plan for our future ok?
I miss myself very much.
After a year of being a lazy organiser (of my photos), I used iPhoto to organise all of my photos. And today, when I’m about to clear up some space from my MBP, I got reminded of why I used to hate using iPhoto!

Looking at the renovated store makes me want to start shopping in there again! No! Make it working back in the store! Oh man! It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!

Look at that cute door! Adorable!
I’m starting to eat and shoot and blog about food again! Thrilled just thinking about the many yummy food I’ll be eating, shooting and sharing! Ohhh the feeling of shooting with DSLR is simply too divine!

Good Variety of Food
So the very first come-back food guide post is for Pariss International Seafood Buffet. It was my birthday so I decided to give myself a good treat! (With plenty of seafood!!!)

For once I avoided and prevented myself from thinking and touching anything related to work. I tried real hard. Cheated a little by taking down some notes that came to mind, other than that, I think I did pretty well to complete my first D.E.A.R.C. Weekend. (Drop Everything And Rest Claudia)
Just to have something to remind of myself how important it is to have regular D.E.A.R.C. days. So I’m jotting it down here.
Saturday started out with quite a rush, no thanks to the road redirection around City Hall. The traffic was total madness. The extra time we planned before the concert at Esplanade was wasted waiting in the car. So there was not lunch nor time to shop.
