iCook – Healthy Dessert You’ll Love

September 28, 2010  |  Food Guide  |  Brown Sugar Seaweed, Dessert, Healthy, iCook, iPhonography, Organic, Seaweed Jello, Soya Milk  |  2 comments

Its vegetarian, organic and oh-so-goooood!!! First tasted this on my bestfriend’s wedding day. Her mother-in-law made it and all those who were at the Groom’s place got to try this! I had many many bowls that day! *greedy* It was so so good! Since then (Jan2010) I’d been trying to find the ingredients, and finally got down to hunting it down while I was planning for 24seven’s Popiah Party.

Diana, Eevon, my mum and many friends can’t stop thinking about it! Right? If you’ve not tried it, don’t miss the next pot luck gathering! This is going to be my default pot luck dish!

Say hello to Awesome Oraganic Soy + Seaweed Jello!

If you would like to make this simple and healthy dessert, read on…

If Only It Was Not Too Late

September 26, 2010  |  Show to catch  |  Ah Kong, Dementia, Family, Health, HPB, Royston Tan  |  No Comments

The title reminded me of him. The opening reminded me to remember what he has done when he was around. By the sixth minute, I couldn’t hold back anymore. It was an emotional short film.

I believe when he departed, he had us in his mind and remembered the good times we shared. I believe he hasn’t suffered from dementia.

Relieved that my Ah Ma is still actively involved around the house. Maybe I should teach her how to Facebook, so she can view the photos from our family activities! Maybe I should ask her children to buy an iPad for her birthday! (Godma you’re reading this right? *hint*) Got to keep Ah Ma’s mind active and encourage her to take up new hobby! Please go read about dementia and help the elderly in your family.

Ah Kong is a new short film written and directed by Royston Tan and presented by the Health Promotion Board.

I miss Gonggong.

Finally I Partied! At Stereolab

September 23, 2010  |  Events & Outings  |  Citibank, Dance, Midnight Shift, Pan Pacific, party, Stereolab, xhin  |  No Comments

After months of non-happening-nor-party-life, finally I broke the chain! My feet got to stamped my feet and throw my hands in the air and screammmmmmmmm!!! The feeling was great for the first 5-minutes, and then the aging me stepped in. I realised I could no long party all night like I used to! This is sad.

It was Midnight Shift‘s First Anniversary Party and the crowd, music and atmosphere that night was fantastic!

I’ve more than 365 days to do it!

September 22, 2010  |  The Woman  |  2011, Health, Run, Self  |  No Comments

Kris shared this video with me and I’m inspired!

I’ve more than 365 days to get into shape! If this man could do it, so can I!

Two 10km run coming up in Oct and Dec! I am getting back to my weekly runs! Started this week on Monday, and my muscles are still aching today! (Too weak!) Will run again on Friday. Going to keep going, at least twice a week for now.

Clifford at The Fullerton Bay Hotel

September 3, 2010  |  Food Guide, Her Viewfinder, Rediscover Singapore  |  Canon EOS 7D, Claud talks Food, Clifford, singapore, The Fullerton Bay Hotel  |  No Comments

Its one of the rare rare rare occasion where you find me dining at such posh place. I had to triple confirm the location to make sure I don’t mixed it up with The Fullerton Hotel.

A relaxing sanctuary along the bay, Clifford embodies true waterfront dining with a chic French American brasserie inspiration. Illuminated by 10-metre high floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sparkling waters of the bay, guests are greeted by an opulent 800-bottle fine wine library meticulously handpicked from all over the world to accompany your waterfront dining experience.

The sound of the place already got me thinking how much the meal would cost. But it was a lunch date I cannot miss.
