One last one before 2010 ends! #10 was in Feb 2010! So long ago!

I’m going to take a break before 2011 arrives.
See you all next year!
2010 is wrapping up nicely and 2011 is here soon! What better way to close the year with a giveaway here at Claudia the Panda! (That name btw is due to be changed come 2011!)
If you’re following me on Twitter or, the recent addiction of mine, instagram, you may have seen the loot of Daycraft notebooks and dairies I got from Hong Kong! I’m giving all of them away! I’m crazy over notebooks and pretty stationary, but I can’t possible use all of them myself! So I’m sharing! Love me don’t you? :P

To win yours, scroll to the bottom of this post for instructions. Alternative, find out more about these lovely notebooks first. Read along…
Read MoreFirst saw photos of this house in a home design magazine and it was love at first sight! Love the simplicity and clean lines. And the flooring; I’m big fan of floors that are cement screed finished! An inspiration for our future home. Well, the future is approaching as you read this. Can’t believe its happening! Shall not get overly excited till we found the one. House hunting starts Jan 2011.

What an experience it had been at my debute appearance at ZoukOut! *coughs* Sounds as if I was there to DJ or perform! Ha! I spent more time walking from one entrance to the next than dancing on the sand (which I didn’t quite enjoy). Sand and Claudia just doesn’t gel well together you see.

The night was short and sweet for me. My body was aching and screaming for attention even before midnight. It was still an eye opener for this mountain tortoise who’ve never stepped into ZoukOut for the past 9 years. When I finally get to step into one, its already their 10th anniversary! Can’t believe the Mambo Queen in me waited 10 years to realised how much I’d missed out on. And now I’m just too old to boogie much. Boo!
Read MoreThe title kinda sum up my sentiments for The Arena Spectacular. I’m amazed and wowed by the engineering and design that went into producing the show, but the show and story itself was alright only. Before watching it, I was told it’ll be like watching a National Geographic show on dinosaurs and expect little actions nor blood. But when I’m finally in the National Indoor Stadium, seated in a Cat 3 ($78/ticket) area on an uncomfortable chair, I was rather disappointed.

Using miniature effect of Sol, trying to make Dino look bigger
First by the long wait (10minutes) for the show which was supposed to start at 8pm. Then despite being reminded twice over the public announcement system, “Flash photography is strictly NOT allowed during the show”, flashes of all sizes and power came on the moment the first dinosaur appeared. We were pissed. The lady behind us were scolding all the flashing photographers stupid and cursing that their photos will turn out black, which we knew would most probably end up looking. Who in the right mind uses a point-and-shoot with inbuilt flash while trying to shoot from like 5m away from the subject in a 90% dark huge hall?
