After much hard work and much more hard work to come, I’m happy to share that it’s finally coming! I’m sooo excited about it and I’m sure my teammates are as thrilled too!

Are you ready for it?

After reading Daryl’s take on the importance to name company’s bloggers, I’ve got some thoughts of my own. Since I’m one of those rare individuals with the title “Community Manager” in Singapore. (Perhaps there’s more, but I’ve not met them yet. Would love to mingle with more CMs if there’s a chance to.)

I’d wanted to leave this as a comment in his blog, but felt more appropriate posting it since it seems more like a thought than a comment. Hmm… anyway, my immediate thoughts that came to mind…

Am I the face for Yebber already?
Am I suitable to be the one in the front line of such organisation?
So what if I leave Yebber one day?
Would the community that I’ve build leave too?
Would the community change or even disappear?
So if the community moves together with the Community Manager/the blogger behind the organisation’s blog, does that mean that they’re the important element that cannot be taken lightly for?

Will elaborate on the points and thoughts later tonight or tomorrow.

While typing this post, I’ve also started a group in facebook! Talk about multi-tasking! (Yes! We GEN-Y people are great multi-taskers! Ha!) So if you’re a CM of any businesses or organisations too, why not join the group? Or tell your friends if you know any in the same line. :)

Don’t know if its the kind of fate that I’m given, or its just so coincidental that these things happened. For those who’ve been asking what I’m doing now, well, read on… and you’ll know…

One year ago in June, i attended a crop session at the small shop next to the toilet at Plaza Singapura. After a whole night of challenges and non-stop laughing and cropping, I was titled the Survivor for the night…

And a couple of weeks after, I found myself conducting workshops at their place. At that time, scrapbooking was quite hot in the press too. And soon, few months later, we moved to a bigger unit. I am very happy that I’d the opportunity to see them grow and grew together with them. The period together at MWL was lots of fun and I miss everyone there. It was like a big family with 3 lovely mummies. But because of the injury I had, which was probably due to the wrong posture at work, I had to stop my job at MWL.

More than a year later, after winning the $100 MWL vouchers from Suvivor, I won another $100 for writing reviews at Yebber. Remember this? … ….

Happy winner of the bi-weekly $100 giveawayAnd thanks to my seconday schoolmate, I was asked to go for an interview at their office a few weeks after winning the $100! I couldn’t believe my luck! Both time I won something from somewhere, I was given the opportunity to be part of them! How cool is that!

So the next time you win something, don’t just forget about it, cos you’ll never know when an opportunity will come knocking on your door!

The second week at CSC Flea Market was slightly better than the first. Sold 6 brooches and couple of handmade cards and albums. But still not good enough to cover rental and cost. But than still a good start… this week I’ll be having other stuff that will be “Lelong-ed” away at just $1!! Lots of alterable such as boxes and other scrapbook related stuff. (Will post photos of the stash soon, when I have time to sort them out and take photos of them.) So watch out for it here ya!
