While we are sourcing for renovation ideas and resources, we stumbled onto these super funny posts by a particular company. I peed in my pants thrice! If your don’t believe me, read the text in the pictures below and you will know what I meant and the pain we suffered from laughing overload.
This is the one on why you should get the company to supply and install instead of only supply without installation…

This one about toilet bowls and why you should replace yours if it’s too old…

He has been my greatest inspiration and will always be. His speech given at 2005 Stanford Commencement, the three stories of his life, is my most watched video when I am in need of an inspiration boost.
He indirectly changed my life and made my life more efficient with Apple OS and the powerful and well designed gadgets. Without his vision I may not have done and accomplished what I have today.
Steve Jobs will always be remembered. RIP Steve. You’ll have a better life where you are now. And go kick butt up there! Help them revolutionize their world with great technology ok!
A great tribute piece on Gizmodo – Steve Jobs is dead.
It’s the first in the world and New Zealand Natural piloted their cafe concept here in Singapore! New Zealand Natural first entered Singapore in year 2000 by Delinatural, after 10 years we now have a cafe serving wholesome, healthy and value for money food.
Read MoreIn June we went on a short getaway in Singapore. Yes! In Singapore! I kinda like the idea of staycation cos it saves time, no need for any flight delay and we are less tired at the end of it cos there’s no long traveling nor waiting hours as compared to trips oversea.

A 3D2N staycation at Meritus Mandarin Singapore started on Friday, 10 June. When we were planning this, we did not check the event schedule and not sure if its good or bad, that’s the PC show weekend at Suntec! We had to battle with the crowd around the hotel. The stay could have been better if the shopping crowd wasn’t so crazy then.

One thing that got me quite upset was the room we were given. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to an executive deluxe room (we booked a deluxe room) and when we entered the room, stayed for awhile, we realized the air-conditioning wasn’t working. The room was warm even after like 20minutes of cooling. We called the reception and the technician came to check, he insisted that we didn’t turn-on the aircon hence its not cooling. Truth is, the first thing he did upon entering our room was to touch the aircon control next to the bed and HE turned it off! Not wanting to argue, we let the matter past and he said the aircon was working fine, left and we waited.
Read MoreThe wonderful crew behind RediscoverSG has been (and is still am) working very hard for their first 10 part video series featuring the almost forgotten places and trades in Singapore. Launch is happening on Tuesday at Crazyworld Cafe. Here’s the teaser they’ve put together for a sneak peak at what to expect.
Well that’s really just a very tiny wee bit of what the 10 videos have. Do catch the first video of Unseen/Unsaid on Rediscover.sg come Wednesday!
Oh! And there will be a new look too! So exciting!
Two years of silence, half a year of hard work and many more years ahead; that’s the life of RediscoverSG. A site like this cannot be done overnight. The crew behind works very hard to put together the content in a way that engages you as much as they can.
Pictures speak a thousand words, and I believe videos speak much more than that. Publishing a site with eye catching photos and short bites of the topic in video isn’t child play. I’m very proud of what the crew have done and achieved. And now, shortlisted as one of the Top 10 finalists in OMY Singapore Blog Awards 2011, it shows that their hard work is being recognized. Winning it is going to be a bonus for the crew.

Please do go take a look at RediscoverSG and see why this group of young Singaporeans deserve our support and votes. If you love it as much as we do, hope you can spare a few seconds everyday from now till 3 July, to vote for RediscoverSG for Best Photography Blog in OMY Singapore Blog Awards 2011.

I’ll be voting everyday. Hope you will too. :)
If you haven’t met the crew behind RediscoverSG, here they are… Song, Jeremy, Derek and Lizzy.

Who doesn’t? If money can drop from the sky I’ll buy the new Polo GTI and will never have to change the bus to the train then to the bus again just to get to office.
Heard the shoutout over 987fm the other night and the sound of the new Polo GTI kinda puzzled me. How can an engine sound so funky? Or you mean speed’s got a new beat? Then I realised its actually beat-boxer Dharni behind it. Impressive beat-boxing can? He’s also the beats behind the game at http://PoloGTI.sg. I tried it and boy its impossible to score in the game! My fingers were all entangled by end of my first try.
Video above was captured while playing my 13th game and still I suck at it! But it was quite a challenge. Kris and Derek were caught trying it out too when I told them about it at the office.
Would love to give the new Polo GTI a try at Volkswagen Centre Singapore! You can book a test drive too through http://PoloGTI.sg. If you think the short drive isn’t going to satisfy you, then go try beat the high score at the game and you’ll get to zoom in the new Polo GTI over a weekend! How cool!
Now, I’m going back to trying out the game… my current score at highest is 70,000 beats, got to beat the 500k++ beats wor! Got till 8 May to do it! Wish me luck!
“P…O… L… O… G… T… I…” :P
