Just today two of my suppliers, one from many years ago, told me that they’ll be leaving their job this week! The first one came as a SMS and the second told me while we spoke over the phone. I was shocked as both of them had seemed to enjoy their work and one of them actually had been with the company for many years. And recently, the famous blogger DK also left his job and went full forced into a new position.
I’m sure there are many more out there who decides to switch in March too. Why? Cause they would have collected their EOY bonus or any other performance bonus in March. And March is also the month after Chinese New Year, where many would have made new plans and new goals for the new year. So there, everyone switch career in March. And comes December, those who’ve not switched in the year, would most probably be considering switching to another job in the following year. As always, the grass is greener on the other side. Is this really true?
Asking me, the lady whom switched her career thrice in 2007, well, not really so. Some patches of the grass might seem greener at certain angle, but when you’re on the grass, you find that its not that green after all. (And nope! Please don’t try to read in between the lines. I’m not referring to the job I’m currently holding. I’m pretty happy and satisfied with it so far. Thanks goodness!)
So are you one of those who’re also leaving your current job this month? Or waiting for the next March to do the switch?

Was around Bishan for dinner so we popped by the library to find some books. I was planning to buy them but it’ll add up to more than hundred bucks. So I went the clever way. Our friendly community library!

In November last year, I’d two designs for my personal namecards. But didn’t get to print it till recently. I chanced upon this namecard printing shop at Funan and thought it was quite cheap. $30 for 3 boxes. (Previously I printed at $35 for 3 boxes with Print22.) So I decided to get my “Web2.0″ namecards printed.
Here’s the card… there’s 2 sides to it…

One side shows my personal details
