May 17, 2010  |  Events & Outings  |  24seven, canon, D'Tent, downtown east, HP, HTC, iDA, New Infocomm & U, NTUC, Sentosa 4D Magix  |  View Comments

The craziness will be taking a short break soon before the other wave of craze starts again! And I’m very happy to share that we (24seven) will be running the very first roadshow this Saturday! No! Not a 24seven roadshow! Its for our business partner! (Huh? What’s 24seven the social media agency doing this for? You’re not an event company wor!)

Hear me! Hear me! Because… a part of this roadshow is to spread the awareness on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Blogging! Now it links up ya?

So if you’re free this Saturday, 22 May 2010, head over to D’Tent at Downtown East anytime from 10am to 6pm! What’s more! There’ll be great prizes to be won! Details below in the poster…

You can RSVP too if you want at the event page on Facebook. If you’re coming, don’t forget to say hi ya! Maybe I’ll buy you an ice-cream or two! :P

Bring along your great grandparents, grandparents, parents, uncle, aunties, friends and everyone! I want to see you there!

Note: This roadshow is held as part of NTUC May Day Family Fiesta 2010. Many activities and happenings that day at Downtown East, for NTUC Union members with official coupons only. BUT!!! The New Infocomm & U roadshow is FREE for all (Everyone!) to participate! So pop by ok?

Claud Talks Movie – The Last Song

May 14, 2010  |  Movie Reviews  |  Disney, Movie Reviews, The Last Song  |  View Comments

Having watched Hannah Montana by accident, and loving the show in the end, makes me think otherwise when it comes to teen movies like these. So is The Last Song as good? Well, personally I prefer the bubbly Miley and plot for Hannah Montana. The Last Song was kinda predictable, but the message behind is still heart warming and yes… I cried the second half of the show.

With Father’s day round the corner, this movie may be a call for everyone to give that little more attention and effort in understanding and learning about their father (and mother and everyone you love!). Though main part of the movie focuses on the relationship between Ronnie (Miley Cyrus) and Will (Liam Hemsworth), how they both discover about one another and their family. The movie eventually wraps up to show how the distance between a father and daughter is drawn closer because of love.

CtG on Sony Walkman NWZ-W252

May 13, 2010  |  Tech & Gadgets  |  Gadgets, review, Sony, Tech & Gadgets, Walkman  |  View Comments

In June last year, I discovered the pretty and functional Sony Walkman NWZ-W202. And this year, they released an improved version of it with the NWZ-W252!

To me, the most amazing thing is the fact that this MP3 player is water-resistant.

Peri-Peri Good Chicken!

May 9, 2010  |  Food Guide  |  Bugis Junction, Claud talks Food, Nadnut, Nando's, Peri-Peri Chicken  |  View Comments

Nando? Nandos? Nando’s!!! Finally Nando’s opened their very first outlet here in Singapore! The chicken in me heard the calling by this Legendary Chicken and submitted a photo of Yuniko and me for “Nando’s Peri-fect Combo Contest!”. Thanks to relatives and friends who ‘liked’ our adorable combo pic, I won myself a table for 4 at Nando’s before their official open on 9 May 2010 (that’s TODAY!).

As part of their on-the-job training, Nando’s ran a week of preview for selected and lucky fans from their facebook fan page. So I was one of the lucky many who got to try the Peri-Peri Chicken! All the hype on Nando’s Peri-Peri Chicken, is it really that good? Let me break it down for you… *coughs*

Claudia the “Social Media Expert”

May 4, 2010  |  Social Media, The Entrepreneur  |  24seven, Personal, Reflection, Rohit Bhargava, Social media expert  |  View Comments

Couple of questions that keeps popping up in my mind, Why are people around me telling me that I inspire them? and Why do they tell me that I’m more than an expert in the field than I think I am?. These kept me thinking. I never want to see myself as a social media expert. I do things because I want to, because I am interested in doing it, and because I believe I can do better. No one moment I’ll think I’m an expert in anything. More often, I’ll tell someone that I’m a “jane-of-most-trades“.

Then I chanced upon “The 12 Types Of “Social Media Experts” – Which One Are You?” by Rohit Bhargava, then I discovered why I’m known as who I am today. Let me break it down…

With Canon at Universal Studio Singapore

On 29 April, Diana and I took a day off and soaked ourselves wet (Yes! Wet!!) at the most exciting attractions to date in Singapore. We captured fun memories at Universal Studio Singapore with Canon digital cameras. Thanks to Canon of course!

Castle Far Far Away

On adventures like such, you wouldn’t want to carry big bulky DSLR with you right? So we were given the challenge to try out Canon latest cameras and the oh-so-fun new shooting modes! Personally I had more fun playing with these shooting modes than the rides at USS! (I’m serious!)

April 28, 2010  |  Food Guide  |  Claud talks Food, Japanese, review, Sakae Sushi  |  View Comments

Having dine at Sakae pretty often for the past few months, I always tell myself to try something new from their menu at each visit. So this month, I tried two of their Mentaiyaki dishes.
