Hello fellow hunters, searchers, followers, bloggers or whatever you want to call yourself, welcome to the race to Search for N.

The Search for N is ON!
Join the search and you could be among the first to own the Nokia N97 in Singapore!

You’ve been waiting for it. You’ve been looking for it. Now, be the first to get it. The Nokia N97 is coming! It’s what you want. Online designed by you.

Nokia has teamed up with top gadget sites and bloggers to give you a chance to be among the first to own the Nokia N97. In Singapore, we’ve partnered http://claudia.sg/ (that’s me!) to bring this exciting event to you. The competition begins ~~26 May 2009~~ NOW!! Are you ready?

How Does The Search For N work?

First, surf on over to http://claudia.sg/ (that’s where you are now). Beginning May 26th, each question will be released at a set schedule as below:

Clue 1 – 26th May, Tue @ 7:00 p.m. Singapore
Clue 2 – 28th May, Thu @ 7:00 p.m. Singapore
Clue 3 – 30th May, Sat @ 7:00 p.m. Singapore
Clue 4 – 31st May, Sun @ 7:00 p.m. Singapore
Clue 5 – 2nd June, Tue @ 7:00 p.m. Singapore
There will be a total of 5 clues with a question each to be answered. The 5th clue will be released on June 2nd.
As soon as the final clue is released, submit all five of your answers to the form embedded in the blog post with the 5th clue. The first 10 all-correct entries will progress to the FINAL stage to stand a chance to win one of six Nokia N97.
Nokia will contact the final 10 contestants with a secret password to be used for the FINAL stage. The FINAL CLUE will be posted on 4th June 2009 on this blog (time will be revealed to 10 finalists).
Solving the FINAL CLUE will reveal the the secret location of the Nokia N97 where the finalists must immediately proceed to on that day within a specified time. It’ll be an exciting race to the finish because only the FIRST 6 to arrive will receive the Nokia N97.

Macbook Air to be won and Soundtrack to give away

Remember the contest I mentioned earlier? The one where they’re giving away not one, but THREE Macbook Air! If not for the silly me who reformat my macbook, and deleted iMovie and iStopmotion, I would be creating as many videos as possible to try my chance in the Flight of The Conchords Trailer Contest!

* Contest Submission must be an original home video production for the series Flight of the Conchords℠.

Thanks to those who’ve submitted your answers to my second Guess the correct camera contest. There were quite a lot of guesses before and after I gave the clues and hints.

Singtel being the title sponsor for F1 race in Singapore has just launched their official F1 site and one of the contest is the Singtel Grid Girls. And guess what I saw!

Gosh! Like that also can?

Is this consider a new media marketing stunt?

Sheesh! This is either a badly planned promotion or they just simply don’t care. A Yebber shared this article from asiaone in the shoutbox.

They’re running a contests to giveaway 2 tickets to champagne brunch this Sunday in line with the World Gourmet Summit. Each ticket is worth $188. Participants are supposed to answer a giveaway question in their forum and post their full name and contact number so that the organisers can contact them should they be the lucky winner.

More than 110 people submitted their answers and particulars in the forum so far. Some who were more alert left out their particulars and just posted their answers. But would they be forfeited from the contests as they weren’t following the instructions? One also posted “Are we to disclose our private mobile phone number to the public?”

This contests thou tempting to many but is it worth exposing your name and contact number in public like that? Telemarketers or anyone can simply copy the entire calling list and use it for their purpose.

What the organisers could have done to prevent this from happening? Simply hide the entire forum to public and allow only postings. Or they could have just sent the winners a private message through the forum right?

If you’re reading this and going to submit your particulars for the contest, please think twice.
