It’s going to be a crazy weekend! Not sure if I should lock myself up so I can prevent myself from entering a local scrapbook store.
At Made With Love, Plaza Singapura

At Scraplicious, Parkway Parade

(Damn I want that Cameo machine!)
Someone please stop me from going out on Friday and Saturday!
If anyone tells me life gets simpler as we grow, I’m so going to tell him bluff. It gets tougher and tougher. My mind has been overclouded with too much things and I needed something to distract me. Something that will not need me to be online. And I was at Junction 8 and found this!

I love craft and I love to color/ paint. Sadly I suck at drawing. I’m so glad I found this Paint It Yourself set. It’s like those coloring book for kids where you follow the numbers and fill the spaces with colors. But this is a little more advance. Painting on canvas with acrylic paint. On the left is how the package looks like.
Over few nights in two weeks, I forced myself to leave my macbook in the office so that I can focus on completing a project commissioned by the birthday girl’s mother. Its my cousin’s 21st birthday and her mother, my godmother, wanted to give her something to remember. So an album compiling her growing up and tiny stories to share.
Its been way too long since I did so much scrapping. Having started it, I kinda miss those days where I scrap almost everyday. Lost touch a little, but I’m quite happy with the layouts I’ve completed.
Here are some of the layouts which I like from the album…

Look How I Grow
Have you seen this before?

Muji Masking Chop
When I saw it at Muji (ION Orchard), I just had to get it! Didn’t even look at the price till I was at the cashier counter! $13 for a masking chop sounds ex. But let me show you the usefulness of this amazing little chop!
I first discovered such chop at Carrefour. But I didn’t get it cause at that point of time, the chop seems useless for me. Then one day when I was clearing my stack of letters, and tying my best to tear it as small as possible so that the address, account number, etc will not be revealable should anyone want to piece the torn pieces together. It was that day where I realised I should have gotten that masking chop!

Address on Envelop
So let’s say this is a letter with your address printed on it, what you do at home is usually tear it off before throwing away right? Unless you’ve got a shredder at home, then that’s a different story. For me, I tear them off everytime so that people will not get to see my address.
And this is what the Muji Masking Chop looks like…

Muji Masking Chop Inside
Before you dump the envelop away, you just need to chop the stamp over it and no one will get to see what was written below the chop!

Details Masked!
This way, you will even be able to reuse the envelop! Cool right? Wahahaha! That’s why I bought it immediately when I saw one at Muji! And yes, its refillable, so when the ink runs out, you just have to fill up with the stamping ink refill. Now I don’t have to tear my letters up anymore! Just chop, chop, chop and I can dump them in the bin without having to worry what others might do with my details should they pick it up.
Muji Masking Chop at S$13. I <3 MUJI!
Its one of those post where I look back at the past… I seem to be doing quite a lot of flash back lately. Perhaps its my aging process… I’m old.

Had started following few of my old scrapping friends on twitter and facebook. And reading their blogs make me feel that I’d lost a part of me which I enjoyed and loved. And also missed very much. But this hobby is just too much a luxury for me to keep. Continuing it is just too much a burden for my weakening pocket.
But I still love looking at my past creations and revisit those moments of creativity and happiness.

I wonder when will I ever scrap again.
Perhaps on the day where I make it to the cover of some Fortune500 or startup magazines with big bold title “Top 10 Successful Female Entrepreneur“. Wohohohohohoho!!! *dreaming*
I’ve decided to do a little craft each week. And I’m going to send them out to you! My friends and readers! I’m serious! If you would like a hand crafted something from me, dm me your address in twitter or drop me an email at mail (at) claudia (dot) sg. I’ll try to send out one each week. Don’t worry, I won’t stalk you at your house or office. I won’t have the time! So if you trust me with your address, ping away!
i’m SUPER broke! so i’m going to be selling off some of my precious junks. but i’m damn lazy to post them up on classified or ebay. so i’m going to be posting up things i want to sell over at my tumblr garage. if you are interested in any of the things that i’m selling there, please feel free to contact me or drop me a message.

i’m constantly having things to sell or give away. so do check back to my garage often. or better still, subscribe to my garage feed. you’ll never know what you’ll be able to find! usually it’ll be at super bargained price!
