Its time for Giveaway at Claudia.sg!
This time, I’m giving away one brand new unopened (means unassembled) Gakkenflex Camera to one lucky winner! I had my hands to assemble one some time back and the first and only roll till date turned out rather disappointing. But still its a very cool camera to assemble and shoot with!

To make this more fun, I’m adding a little tasks this time round to the giveaway. Instead of submitting your details to me and me picking a winner, you’ll have to show my readers and me a creative shot taken by you. It can be on instagram, flickr, twitter, facebook or any photo sharing sites.
- TAG your photo with #claudia10
- Post a comment below this post with link to your photo
- Fill up the comment with your real name and email
- Wait for my congratulation email one week from the closing date
Closing date for this giveaway will be on 16 April 2011 at 2359hrs.
Got the drill?
Not let’s see some pretty pictures!
This roll of film had been in the Holga camera since CNY2010! The first image in the roll proved this!

Have no idea what we (cousins) were doing with the camera, but this is quite an interesting shot (of many shots).
The other shots in the roll…
Read MoreI might ditch digital and go film for good! That’s in my next life perhaps! But I’m so in love with the anticipation of waiting for rolls of films to be developed after year of shoot. I’m slow and lazy like that. 4 rolls of film I took a year to complete. Zzzzz…
My recent purchased of the Gakkenflex got the handy-claudia happy.

Assembled the twin flex camera on my own, and my first roll of film was… hideous! 36 shots turned 19 shots with 1 wasted shot between 2. You see, I wind the film too much lah!
Few shots of the Old Supreme Court and City Hall before they started the major overhaul for the new TNAGS. Shot on film with Ultra Wide & Slim toy camera. Simple and fun camera! Idiot proof! I love this camera!

It was more than a decade ago since I last took photos with a film camera! And when I finally got my hands on the Holga 135BC (Holga) and Ultra Wide & Slim (UWS) from thirtysi36, I started my first 36 x 2 film shot.

One of those emo shots (Single exposure w/Holga)
The digital photographer in me who usually snap non-stop on the digital cameras, but I actually took more than 2 months to finish the 72 shots! I cannot believe it! Instead of randomly shooting at things, I used the first two rolls cautiously. I regretted not snapping more when I was in Bangkok! The photos turned out to be so randomly beautiful!
My first 72 shots didn’t all came out good. But I got more viewable shots than I thought. Not bad for a beginner lah. LOL!
Sharing my achievements from the two rolls of film… *coughs*
