On 29 April, Diana and I took a day off and soaked ourselves wet (Yes! Wet!!) at the most exciting attractions to date in Singapore. We captured fun memories at Universal Studio Singapore with Canon digital cameras. Thanks to Canon of course!
Castle Far Far Away On adventures like such, you wouldn’t want to carry big bulky DSLR with you right? So we were given the challenge to try out Canon latest cameras and the oh-so-fun new shooting modes! Personally I had more fun playing with these shooting modes than the rides at USS! (I’m serious!)
Read MoreDuring his March school term break and both of us needed to get away from the stress at work for awhile and spend quality time together. So we had an impromptu getaway to Sentosa. And we rediscovered the fun things we can do at this small “island”! Now we’re planning for one more in December! Who says going on holiday has to fly? We just drive! Or you can just ride the SEX in! Ya… Sentosa EXpress from Vivo!
While we planned this trip, we didn’t know that it was also the soft opening for Universal Studio. When we knew about it, we thought we’ll be stuck in major jam going into Sentosa. Glad that didn’t happen. Traffic was smooth and the place wasn’t as packed as we thought.
We didn’t get chance on the first day to dip into the cool pool at Siloso Beach Resort. The waterfall is enticing us to get in there quick.

Happened to be at Sentosa on the day for Universal Studio Singapore’s soft launch. Without a ticket, we thought we wouldn’t have a chance to enter, but we still went ahead for a walk around Resort World Sentosa.
Universal Studio SingaporeThere was a long queue outside the entrance in the late noon. Wonder if those folks got to go on all the rides before the theme park closes at 6pm. (Which we didn’t know when we were there.) We hang around nearby and visited Hershey’s Chocolate World, had our dinner at Chili’s and was about to leave the place. This was when we saw no queue at the entrance and people were going in and out of Universal Studio without showing any tickets! Oh! It’s open to public after 6pm! (At least that was what happened that night!) Hope this is how they roll! Everyone can then enter to shop and dine and check out the interesting buildings in there.
Read More30th December came and go in a flash. It was one of the biggest gathering of bloggers 24seven has hosted since its birth in Dec 2008. Yes, technically speaking, that party could also be seen as to mark the first year anniversary for 24seven. Happy Birthday 24seven! LOL!

The door bitches of that night. Molemole, me and Eevon.

On 1 February, I was out with a group of friends at Sentosa Flower Festival. Sharing some of the better shots I got that day.

“Bonded together”

And lastly my favorite shot from the day… “I want to be like her”

Other photos taken by fellow photographers and friends that day can be found in the facebook event album. All thoughts, critiques and trashing for the above three shots welcome. Comment below…

Here’s the video taken at the Intel Centrino 2 launch at Sentosa yesterday.
Apologise for not posting of my thoughts as mentioned in my previous post. Not in the right mind to write anything logical today.
Just a quick note, if you’re planning to get a laptop soon, hold your horses! Centrino2 is surely worth the wait. Asus and Acer should already have launched their models out in the market today. The rest will come in end July or in August 2008. Keep a look out. Lenovo has quite a few solid models too.
You can read more about it at the following blog and sites (thanks to themediaslut, perhaps I shouldn’t have grouped all of them together. Apology to Dairus.)…
- Darius Chang did a great
write-uparticle over athis blogCnet. If I’m not wrong, he’s the one with very technical and brain squeezing questions during the Q&A session. - Nicholas shares his take on the new chip and happenings at the event.
- Bernard has another great write up too. He was at the Blogger session at Geek Terminal that night.

With jw’s school holiday coming to an end, ahxin’s working life coming soon and me hopefully returning back to work soon, we decided to go out for some fun. We had planned for this day 2 weeks ago and we had been waiting eagerly for today to come (31 July). It was a super fun and tiring day. Lots of photos were taken and here are the 10% of them… will talk about the with the photos… (cos photos tell a thousand words… *doh*)
Our plan was to head to Sentosa to check out their latest attractions and also to go walk around since we had not been there for a long long time. But with the recent crazy weather, we were trying to come up with Plan B in case it starts to rain. And plan B, of cos was to go shopping… but in the end, we managed to accomplish both plans! Ha!
So here’s what happened today…
We started off at Vivocity for lunch at 12pm.
Modesto’s having 1-for-1 promo for UOB cardmembers…
We ordered 2 items… (1-4-1 mah!)

this was yummy! We love mushrooms!!
