I wonder if this could really be happening in real life, when he’s gone, but still always online. But this made me cry!

Claud’s Latest Plushie – Wall.E!

August 31, 2008  |  Movie Reviews  |  Eva, Movie Reviews, Plushie, show, Toy, Wall.E  |  5 comments

Have you caught Wall.E yet? I went to catch it today and will be catching it AGAIN on Sunday!! I’ll share more about the 2nd trip when I’m back from it. ^_^

First half of the show passed by with only a few words exchanged between Wall.E and Eve. It seems almost like a silent movie if without the music and sound effects. But everyone is just happy to watch Wall.E rolling himself around.

I strongly encourage parents to bring their kids to catch Wall.E. This is not just another cartoon movie. But there’s a deeper meaning and thoughts put into the story.

If I were to bring my child to the show, some of the questions I’ll ask after the movie…

Singapore Bike Fest 2008 – Photos

August 5, 2008  |  Happenings, Stumpled  |  Bikes, Events, Kallang, Motorcycle, Nikon D40, Photos, show, Singapore Bike Fest 2008, Stunt  |  3 comments

Happened to discover this event – Singapore Bike Fest 2008, while Abang was at Kallang Leisure Mall with his friends. We went on Saturday afternoon to check out what its all about.

When we arrived, I was expecting huge crowd with lots of tents and happenings, but as the sun was too hot, most people stayed indoor at Kallang Leisure Mall atrium, where some vendors were showcasing their latest or classic motorcycles. There were crowds of the Harley Davidson gang and Ducati bike gang. When there’s bikes and men, there’ll sure be babes. But I only spotted a couple there when I was indoor. Didn’t manage to snap any shots so don’t expect to see hot babes in here.

Tired with My Job

June 23, 2008  |  Communities, Work Related  |  Communities, Job, lunch with yebber, show, Tired, video, Work Related  |  8 comments

It’s almost a year since I took up my current job. All thanks to ME! I’ve been giving myself just too much stress and more work! Sometimes I really wonder why I did this to myself. Why am I so committed to my work and whatever duties and roles I’m given? When I was teaching, I almost lost myself in mountains of work and didn’t have any time to myself. And when I joined my company now, I thought I will have more time to rest and spend with my friends and love ones. But I was soooo wrong!

I’m beginning to wonder if my hard work is paying off. I’m really very tired already! Is this the kind of job I want?

Battle of Local Vodcast Production

June 4, 2008  |  Communities  |  Entertainment, Free, internet, Media, On demand, show, singapore, social media, Technology, Videos, Vodcast  |  4 comments

Much has been talked and heard about on the case of Blogger’s Treat and Podfire. And then many started comparing Blogger’s Treat and Small Girl Big Appetite. Then there’s the stimulating teaser by Sweets.sg. All these to me are good sign for the much talk about Social Media scene in Singapore. More and more individuals and bloggers are talking about creating their own shows and everyone wants a piece of this new trend.

Just like the then battle of T-C-S-8 and C-H-A-N-N-E-L-U, the bigger player wins and the smaller one got bought over. But those are the big big players and probably the only player that’s in the media broadcast business locally. So there’s really nothing that any smaller player can do.

But now with the advancement of technology and the increasing use of internet for entertainment purpose, the big players started providing video-on-demand sites for internet users to enjoy their program anywhere anytime (with a small amount of monthly subscriptions). However, for alternative and FREE entertainment online, (Internet is FREE isn’t it?) users are going to YouTube, Vimeo, TuDou, Pomoho and many many other video hosting sites.

But now… we the people of this nation are trying to step into the online entertainment scene. Providing yet another alternative for users of the Internet to go to for entertainment. And almost anyone and everyone can become a self-proclaimed producer or director overnight. With the right tools, concept and skills, everyone can have their own show in the world of Internet! Fantastic isn’t it?

There’re so many users online, and there’s no limitation like fixed showtime, missing out of any show, having to pay to watch the show etc etc. Internet is 24-7 isn’t it? And the show will always be there! So if you missed one episode, you’ll still be able to catch it anytime you want.

Sooo the question is why is everyone so “troubled” by what’s happening behind the scenes of these productions? Just because bloggers are the one doing the show, it doesn’t mean that they should be airing out their thoughts so openly on their blogs too. Work is work. If one is so openly sharing their personal life in their blog, and mixed work with this. It just doesn’t sound and look professional isn’t it?

(Ok, I think I’m sidetracking a little too far. Back to my initial point…)

My point is, there’s no need to fight about these things ya. Everyone who watches SGBA can also be audience of Blogger’s Treats and Sweets.sg (<<----VERY Looking forward to this one!) right? As long as the show is worth watching, there'll sure be their loyal fans and followers. So concentrate on the production instead of the battling part k.

AND!!!
Don’t forget!!!
